Chris King
Born and raised in the soulful city of Memphis, Tenn., Chris King couldn’t help but have a love for all different genres of music from a young age. During his college years at the University of Tennessee at Martin, he quickly realized that he had an affinity for numbers, but more importantly, he had a passion for interacting with people. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and shortly after graduating, King moved to Nashville.
His dedication and motivation helped him quickly rise through the ranks at the business management firm FBMM, where he worked for six years. After leaving FBMM, King became a Partner at Blue Sky Group Business Management where he spent four years as the head of their entertainment business management division before departing in 2019 to launch his own firm, King Business Financial Management (KBFM).
By starting KBFM, he put in place a family-like atmosphere, where each client would receive one-on-one attention and where every employee would have a voice. Four years later, his team has grown to 14 employees and his roster has grown substantially, yet still remains steadfast in maintaining those core values. King brings his knowledge, expertise, and innovation to every aspect of his client’s financial situations.
His personal success is fueled by watching his clients’ dreams become reality and the loving support of his family, including his wife Torrie and their two sons, Mason and Chandler.
King is a member of the Academy of Country Music, Country Music Association, The Americana Music Association and The Recording Academy.

Chris’s first arena concert was the initial American Idol tour in 2002 at the Pyramid in Memphis, TN… before it became the worlds biggest Bass Pro Shop.
